Highlights from this day
  • spreadsheet_stu — 28 down in 2 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale 17:03
  • appetite_back — slightly off topic but no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do 18:38
  • dublin_dose — is it weird that the clothes size mattered more to me than the number did 19:49
  • plus_sixteen — careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two 20:10
  • still_here_2024 — unrelated but i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did 20:43
DD

down 67 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine

SS

28 down in 2 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

AB

nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 16 now

TO

down 58 and the scale hasnt moved in a fortnight, do i still get to call it a win

TO

a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything

AB

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

CV

the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available

CV

i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust, anyway

*Janoshik not the other one

SH

follow up i overclaimed early on in here, got gently corrected, and i deserved it

CV

the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much

🎉10
CV

FLOW reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better, anyway

AB

slightly off topic but no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do

m0 118.4
m1 113.9
m2 110.2
m3 108.8
m4 108.1 <- the stall
m5 105.0
m6 101.6
m7 99.2
SS

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug

DD

half a stone in 12 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening, we shall see

NP

the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part
resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know

SS

the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going, take that with a pinch of salt

my knees stopped hurting around 18 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage
10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance

DD

is it weird that the clothes size mattered more to me than the number did

brilliant a1c

unrelated but week three nearly finished me and im at month 4 now, does anyone want the boring version

PS

careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two

down 33 and my resting heart rate dropped 9 bpm, related or not

VB

Testing queue: 6 submissions open, 37 awaiting dispatch.

SH

cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night

thats the win

📉12

follow up coming back after 19 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody

the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was

unrelated but i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did

a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it

SH

quick one i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny

😂1

unrelated but size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop

still here at month 14
