[edited]somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me
half a stone in 25 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening
youre allowed to be pleased
12 down in 8 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale
cpap pressure got turned down last week, has that happened for anyone
the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance
a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it, happy to be corrected
m0 118.4
m1 113.9
m2 110.2
m3 108.8
m4 108.1 <- the stall
m5 105.0
m6 101.6
m7 99.2the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going
keep going
i want to say something in here but im worried about sounding like im showing off
somebody talked me out of quitting at week three and i never said thank you properly
i nearly quit too
Channel stats, last 30 days: 26 messages from 9 members.
the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available
down 51 and the scale hasnt moved in a fortnight, do i still get to call it a win
update on the earlier thing i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust
10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month
blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence
honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug, we shall see
cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night
how do you celebrate this without it being about food
thats not showing off
coming back after 11 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody
while im here how do you say youre pleased in here without it sounding like an advert
good bp move
still here at month 14
size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop, for what its worth
thats the win
i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did
resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know
the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much
careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two, ill dig out the number
