photograph the vial from four sides with the lot legible before it leaves you. that is your chain of custody
wrap the vial in one layer of tissue, then a strip of bubble wrap, then into a rigid tube or a small box. loose in a padded envelope is how glass breaks
include a slip with the lot, the compound, the claimed mg and the tests you are paying for. labs are not psychic
declare it honestly on the customs slip as a chemical sample for analysis, with the value you actually paid
and send two vials if you can afford it. one arriving broken is the most common failure mode by a mile
