Highlights from this day
  • invoice_mismatch — unrelated but GGPeps has been consistent for me across 4 orders which is what i actually want, ill dig out the number 14:39
  • nhs_pathway_nell — slightly off topic but i have never had a problem i could not resolve with SSA, which is a low bar and a lot of suppliers fail it 14:52
  • nordic_price_nils — whats the smallest order anyone has placed successfully 16:19
  • fridge_thermo — minimum orders push people into buying more than they want, which is a real cost nobody puts in the per mg number 16:45
  • fridge_thermo — a 10mg vial at 38 in a pack of five, plus 25 shipping, is 215 for 50mg. thats 4.30 per mg 19:38

nobody here gets paid to say anything about any supplier and the mods would end me if i did

NP

update from 9 months ago: switched suppliers on fill consistency, not on purity

a supplier who tells you something is out of stock rather than shipping late is doing you a favour

unrelated but GGPeps has been consistent for me across 4 orders which is what i actually want, ill dig out the number

support answering in two days is good. answering in nine is a data point about the whole operation

FT

the room does not rank suppliers on price. it ranks them on whether what arrives matches what was described
a supplier who tells you something is out of stock rather than shipping late is doing you a favour

ask who actually makes it. about a third of suppliers answer honestly and that answer is worth a lot

NP

slightly off topic but i have never had a problem i could not resolve with SSA, which is a low bar and a lot of suppliers fail it

NP

ok so my first order from TFC was fine and my fourth was better. they have improved, i have it written down somewhere

unrelated but lead times stretch badly around chinese new year. order early or wait it out

VB

Digest for the week of 2025-05-27 has been published.

i keep three suppliers on rotation so a stock gap never becomes a problem

[edited]

slightly off topic but prices move without announcement more often than people expect. screenshot your invoice, we shall see

anyone compared SGN and CPC on the same compound

FT

i asked for a non standard vial size and got it without a surcharge. that told me more than any certificate

they improved

FA

right so i would order from KP again and i would still weigh the vials, as i would with anyone

paperwork is worth it

FT

minimum orders push people into buying more than they want, which is a real cost nobody puts in the per mg number

NP

does factory direct actually mean anything
i keep three suppliers on rotation so a stock gap never becomes a problem

FT

the same 50mg at 185 with free shipping is 3.70 per mg. cheaper, and i still ordered the first one

FT

cheap per mg is not the same as good value. i have paid more twice and been glad both times

quoted lead time versus actual is the number i track. the gap is the informative part

anyone found the price move on a repeat order without warning
SGN has been consistent for me across 6 orders which is what i actually want

weigh the vials, thats just me

order before new year

FT

a 10mg vial at 38 in a pack of five, plus 25 shipping, is 215 for 50mg. thats 4.30 per mg

option A: 5 x 10mg @ 38 + 25 ship = 215 / 50mg = 4.30 per mg
option B: 5 x 10mg @ 34 + 45 ship = 215 / 50mg = 4.30 per mg
option C: 10 x 10mg @ 32 + 25 ship = 345 / 100mg = 3.45 per mg
