- see_a_clinician — support answering in two days is good. answering in nine is a data point about the whole operation 19:25
- hiccup_hollis — lead times stretch badly around chinese new year. order early or wait it out 19:52
- peak_split — the packaging from KP was the best i have had, double boxed with the tray intact 20:32
- month_six_me — ask who actually makes it. about a third of suppliers answer honestly and that answer is worth a lot 20:40
- thirty_one_g — reordering or trying somebody new, whats the argument for staying 21:25

update from 16 months ago: switched suppliers on fill consistency, not on purity, thats one data point
i keep three suppliers on rotation so a stock gap never becomes a problem
i have never had a problem i could not resolve with SWB, which is a low bar and a lot of suppliers fail it
sorry to jump in a supplier who tells you something is out of stock rather than shipping late is doing you a favour
sorry to jump in my first order from KP was fine and my fourth was better. they have improved

no sourcing requests by private message. not from members, not from suppliers, and we report anyone who tries
reordering or trying somebody new, whats the argument for staying
