Highlights from this day
  • private_script_pri — i was wrong in here about what unlicensed meant for about six months until somebody sorted me out an irish member told me their out of pocket cost was noticeably… 20:35
  • belfast_bac — right so the shortage was upstream of the pharmacies as far as anyone here could tell, and shouting at counter staff achieved nothing, take that with a pinch of salt 20:50
  • assay_not_purity — scotland ran a different process from england when i looked into it, and a member there reported a shorter wait 20:54
SB

a member in dublin said their pharmacy supply was steadier than mine in england, which surprised both of us

i have never been asked for id at a pharmacy for this and other members here have, so it seems to be down to the individual pharmacist, for what its worth

scotland differs

PS

the private quotes i collected last spring ran from about 130 to about 250 a month depending on dose, and that will have moved since

the seizure letters members have had here have been letters and nothing else, but that is our sample rather than a guarantee

i rang eleven pharmacies and the twelfth had it. that was one winter, and it is not a strategy

an irish member told me their out of pocket cost was noticeably higher than the uk equivalent when they compared in 2024
