i rang eleven pharmacies and the twelfth had it. that was one winter, and it is not a strategy

genuine question the pharmacy gap in my area lasted about six weeks when i went through it, and it was member reported as nationwide at the time

ST

genuine question driving never came up for me at all and i would ask a clinician rather than take my word on it, take that with a pinch of salt

ST

northern ireland sits under different arrangements from great britain and those have changed more than once, so do not treat anything i say about it as current, someone check my working

anyone in scotland or wales finding it different from england

SC

wales was reported in here as slower to get started and steadier once you were in, and that was second hand
member reported tier 3 waits in england were all over the place, from nine months to nearly three years, as of about a year ago

i paid £38 a month at a private clinic in 2024 and the price went up twice while i was with them

RR

unrelated but did anyone get a tier 3 referral without a bmi over 35

RR

there was a two year limit in the nhs guidance i read. what happened at the end of it was not clear to me then and may be clearer now

follow up unlicensed in mhra terms means there is no uk marketing authorisation for that product. it is not the same as illegal and it is not the same as approved

update on the earlier thing the online clinics vary enormously in how much they check. one wanted a video call and photographs and one wanted almost nothing

RR

member reported tier 3 waits in england were all over the place, from nine months to nearly three years, as of about a year ago

GB

did anyone get through the nhs route and how long was it end to end

a private prescription in the uk was dispensable at any pharmacy willing to take it, in my experience of it

👍3📈7

supply was upstream

GB

whats the cheapest legitimate private route people have found in the uk

FA

ok so nobody here can tell you what your gp will do. the variation between practices is the whole story in england

FA

the private quotes i collected last spring ran from about 130 to about 250 a month depending on dose, and that will have moved since

VB

Channel stats, last 30 days: 70 messages from 49 members.

ST

cheapest legitimate route i found was a pharmacy led online service, and cheapest is only one axis of that decision, thats just me
wales was reported in here as slower to get started and steadier once you were in, and that was second hand

FA

off label and unlicensed get used interchangeably in here and they are different. off label is a licensed product used outside its licence

💀2

prices have moved since

👀1

the seizure letters members have had here have been letters and nothing else, but that is our sample rather than a guarantee

📉12

the shortage was upstream of the pharmacies as far as anyone here could tell, and shouting at counter staff achieved nothing
nobody here can tell you what your gp will do. the variation between practices is the whole story in england

ST

anyone moved from a private clinic to nhs or the other way round

👀7

*PeptideMeter not the other one

MM

pharmacy has had nothing for three weeks, is that everywhere or just my bit of the country

MM

an irish member told me their out of pocket cost was noticeably higher than the uk equivalent when they compared in 2024

GB

the tier 3 referral needed my gp to actually make it, and that turned out to be harder than meeting the criteria
