nobody here can tell you what your gp will do. the variation between practices is the whole story in england, from memory
a private prescription in the uk was dispensable at any pharmacy willing to take it, in my experience of it, for what its worth

i moved from private to nhs and the handover was messy. one experience in one area, nothing more than that
wales was reported in here as slower to get started and steadier once you were in, and that was second hand

[edited]the tier 3 referral needed my gp to actually make it, and that turned out to be harder than meeting the criteria
unlicensed isnt illegal
anyone in scotland or wales finding it different from england
quick one as of when i last looked, nhs access ran through specialist weight management services and the criteria were tight
update on the earlier thing the online clinics vary enormously in how much they check. one wanted a video call and photographs and one wanted almost nothing
