at 2.5 my appetite is gone entirely, did anyone go down rather than up

- bac_water_bill — while im here licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does 19:58
- bac_water_bill — slightly off topic but the 40 vial in 1.5ml gives 2.5mg/ml which puts 2.5 on 10 units, nice round numbers 20:11
- surpass_two — did anybody switch back to semaglutide after trying this 20:21
- noct.titrate — the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so 20:34
- bpc_sceptic — how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough 22:19
my PeptideMeter result on a BCH vial came in at 99.4 which is why i keep buying from them
at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that
while im here licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
SURMOUNT is weight
coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5
im at 1.7 and thinking about 0.5, did anyone gain anything from that step
titrate slow
5 did nothing
easier gi for me
slightly off topic but the 40 vial in 1.5ml gives 2.5mg/ml which puts 2.5 on 10 units, nice round numbers

7.5 gang
unrelated but at 2.4 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win, take that with a pinch of salt
is the 5 vial the common one or do people use 40
40 units of a 8 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time, thats just me
did anybody switch back to semaglutide after trying this
ok so did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it
went back to semaglutide after 19 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
folklore probably
whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different
the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so
i sat at 7.5 for 4 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from
the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
anyone tracked whether the GI difference held at the top doses
if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table
does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start
how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you
genuine question why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
anyone got a 2.5 recon they like for the 20 vials
*Medutest not the other one
whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher
[edited]anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months
SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up, not advice obviously
update on the earlier thing did going from 2 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone
no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later
no clean conversion
back after 24 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off
while im here the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects
how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough
same plateau here
is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule
$72 for a 5 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year
the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar
the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number
15 is the top
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 8 months at 7.5 not needing more, ymmv
10 was enough
is SURMOUNT-OSA the sleep apnoea one
start low anyway
GIP plus GLP-1
