- impersonator_ip — coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5 15:45
- fridge_thermo — anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months 17:44
- fridge_thermo — i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me, someone check my working 17:47
- impersonator_ip — SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted 18:08
5 did nothing
SURMOUNT is weight
the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number, i could be wrong
coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5
did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect, i could be wrong
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number
the 2 vial in 0.5ml gives 10mg/ml which puts 1 on 30 units, nice round numbers
went back to semaglutide after 8 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
anyone stopped at 10 and stayed there for months
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me, someone check my working
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
15 is the top
is the 40 vial the common one or do people use 20
my PeptideMeter result on a ERP vial came in at 96.8 which is why i keep buying from them
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg

wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)7.5 gang
[edited]folklore probably
easier gi for me
GIP plus GLP-1
plateaued at 16 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
start low anyway
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact, your mileage will differ
right so the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier
