at 2.4 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win

- panel_before_after — does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start 16:42
- hiccup_hollis — $55 for a 5 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year 17:12
- back_from_away — is the 10 vial the common one or do people use 40 18:02
- hiccup_hollis — no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later 18:19
does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start
the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 3
whats the top licensed dose, 15 or does it go higher
restarted at 2.5 after 9 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists
the 10 vial in 5ml gives 4mg/ml which puts 0.25 on 5 units, nice round numbers, thats one data point
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
im at 0.25 and thinking about 12, did anyone gain anything from that step
held 10 for 8 months and lost 5kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
$55 for a 5 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later, ill dig out the number
switched from 15 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

SURMOUNT is weight
plateaued at 20 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing
the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
coming back to this licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does
no clean conversion
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
[edited]is the 10 vial the common one or do people use 40

*week 32 not week 3
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
easier gi for me
i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did, ymmv
titrate slow
sorry to jump in did anybody switch back to semaglutide after trying this
does the appetite effect feel different or just stronger
for the archive the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
i sat at 7.5 for 21 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from, n of 1 obviously
the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so
right so coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5
the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found
did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it
5 did nothing
40 units of a 2.5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
my PeptideMeter result on a WXT vial came in at 99 which is why i keep buying from them
GIP plus GLP-1
is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule
no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later
