coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5

- truncation_tru — right so the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found 15:51
- truncation_tru — restarted at 2.5 after 11 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists, ymmv 15:59
- taper_tess — for the archive my VendorInvestigate result on a WXT vial came in at 97.4 which is why i keep buying from them 17:44
- taper_tess — 5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me 17:53
- split_dose_sam — for the archive the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works 17:59
no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later
SURMOUNT is weight
does the appetite effect feel different or just stronger
40 units of a 2.5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time, from memory
went back to semaglutide after 24 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
right so the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found
i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 6 months at 7.5 not needing more, ask me again in a month
the 2 vial in 0.5ml gives 2.5mg/ml which puts 0.25 on 25 units, nice round numbers
is SURMOUNT-OSA the sleep apnoea one
restarted at 2.5 after 11 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists, ymmv
easier gi for me
at 2 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win
how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
while im here dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line
the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number, ask me again in a month
anyone tracked whether the GI difference held at the top doses
same plateau here
does the GIP arm actually explain the easier nausea or is that hand waving
at 2.4 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win
for the archive my VendorInvestigate result on a WXT vial came in at 97.4 which is why i keep buying from them
coming back to this switched from 1 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
quick one at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that
i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did
[edited]for the archive the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
anyone got a 10 recon they like for the 20 vials
the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 27
