that one is mine. vendor sheet for the same lot said 99.3% and 10.0mg

1.5 points of purity is arguable. 1.9mg of content is not

agreed. the purity gap is inside inter-lab and inter-method noise. the content gap needs an explanation

vendor response was that shipping conditions affect results

shipping can degrade a peptide. shipping does not remove 19% of the mass from a sealed vial

that is the cleanest way to put it and i am stealing it

unless the stopper was compromised and the cake absorbed water, which would push the assay down, not up

true and worth checking. water uptake dilutes the peptide fraction. was the cake normal looking

cake looked fine, i photographed it. crimp intact

then underfill or a gross weight label is the most likely story

the vial is filled to 10mg of powder, and the powder is peptide plus salt plus water. label says 10mg, net peptide is 8.5ish. see #coa-reading, there is a whole conversation on it
