Highlights from this day
  • night_pin — two to eight degrees. most domestic fridge doors are not in that range and people do not check, thats one data point 15:22
  • comment_fatigue — coming back to this power cut with the door shut for a few hours is fine. a full fridge holds temperature surprisingly well 16:34
  • invoice_mismatch — do you log the fridge temperature or is that too far 17:00
  • VialBot — Reminder set. I will post here in 5 days. 18:37

NP

i freeze aliquots and have had them test fine afterwards. others here would not do it and i understand why

AP

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that your vial cooked

CF

unopened and in-use in the same place is fine. just keep the in-use one where you can reach it

CF

i keep everything at the back of the middle shelf, never the door, we shall see

IM

i left a reconstituted vial out overnight once, sent it for testing out of curiosity, it came back fine, from memory

IM

reconstituted solution is the fragile part. that is where the cold chain actually earns its keep

CP

if you are worried after a bad transit, test it. that is what the testing channels are for
