Highlights from this day
  • related_subs — lyophilised at room temp for 9 days in transit, worried or not 20:27
  • related_subs — i log the fridge temperature daily and the room has never let me forget it 21:36
  • ghk_gia — two to eight degrees. most domestic fridge doors are not in that range and people do not check, thats one data point 22:11
  • related_subs — update on the earlier thing reconstituted solution is the fragile part. that is where the cold chain actually earns its keep 22:35

freeze thaw cycling is the risk, not one freeze. that is my read of it anyway

SS

unrelated but do you log the fridge temperature or is that too far

FF

power cut with the door shut for a few hours is fine. a full fridge holds temperature surprisingly well

RR

the vial that visibly changed after a warm transit was the one that had already been reconstituted

RS

unopened and in-use in the same place is fine. just keep the in-use one where you can reach it

i log the fridge temperature daily and the room has never let me forget it

if you are worried after a bad transit, test it. that is what the testing channels are for
