  • thirty_min_wait — the vial that visibly changed after a warm transit was the one that had already been reconstituted, ymmv 18:00
  • sharps_comedy — does the fridge in a hotel room count as a fridge 19:01
  • bac_water_bill — update on the earlier thing lyophilised powder is genuinely robust. a warm transit is far less likely to matter than people fear 19:43
  • bac_water_bill — sorry to jump in coming back after 6 months, is the pinned storage table still current 19:45
  • thirty_min_wait — i freeze aliquots and have had them test fine afterwards. others here would not do it and i understand why lyophilised powder is genuinely robust. a warm transit is… 19:50

sorry to jump in the practical risk in winter shipping is freezing, and in summer it is heat. plan for the season you are in

buy a thermometer. mine reads 4 on the door and two degrees lower at the back

BR

light exposure matters much less than temperature for these. i still keep them in the carton

a cooler with two gel packs held under eight degrees for eleven hours on a drive

BW

a few hours at room temperature is almost certainly nothing. a week is a different conversation
nobody here can tell you a vial is safe. we can tell you what has and has not survived for us

TT

i left a reconstituted vial out overnight once, sent it for testing out of curiosity, it came back fine

BW

how do you keep it cold on a long drive in summer

genuine question freezing reconstituted peptide is the one thing this channel has never agreed on

sorry to jump in coming back after 6 months, is the pinned storage table still current

for flying, hand luggage every time. the hold is not temperature controlled the way people assume, n of 1 obviously

lyophilised powder is genuinely robust. a warm transit is far less likely to matter than people fear

BW

freeze thaw cycling is the risk, not one freeze. that is my read of it anyway

the door swings four or five degrees every time somebody opens it. the back barely moves
