sorry to jump in freeze thaw cycling is the risk, not one freeze. that is my read of it anyway

light exposure matters much less than temperature for these. i still keep them in the carton

for the archive two to eight degrees. most domestic fridge doors are not in that range and people do not check
my fridge is 6.2
for flying, hand luggage every time. the hold is not temperature controlled the way people assume
test it
