power cut with the door shut for a few hours is fine. a full fridge holds temperature surprisingly well
reconstituted solution is the fragile part. that is where the cold chain actually earns its keep

thats fine
anyone had a vial visibly change after a warm transit
a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that your vial cooked
reconstituted solution is the fragile part. that is where the cold chain actually earns its keep
freezing reconstituted peptide is the one thing this channel has never agreed on
quick one i left a reconstituted vial out overnight once, sent it for testing out of curiosity, it came back fine
for flying, hand luggage every time. the hold is not temperature controlled the way people assume
nobody here can tell you a vial is safe. we can tell you what has and has not survived for us
if you are worried after a bad transit, test it. that is what the testing channels are for, we shall see
follow up door shelf or back of the fridge
buy a thermometer. mine reads 5.6 on the door and two degrees lower at the back, anyway
hand luggage
does the amber vial thing matter or is it marketing
is there a difference in stability between the compounds
solution is not
lyophilised at room temp for 8 days in transit, worried or not
a cooler with two gel packs held under eight degrees for eleven hours on a drive
the practical risk in winter shipping is freezing, and in summer it is heat. plan for the season you are in
unopened and in-use in the same place is fine. just keep the in-use one where you can reach it
reconstituted solution is the fragile part. that is where the cold chain actually earns its keep
best travel setup for 25 days away with vials
buy a thermometer
Reminder set. I will post here in 7 days.
gel packs
freeze thaw cycling is the risk, not one freeze. that is my read of it anyway
does the fridge in a hotel room count as a fridge
slightly off topic but i left it out overnight by accident, bin it or use it
i log the fridge temperature daily and the room has never let me forget it, thats one data point
log it
flying with vials, hand luggage or checked
what temperature does a domestic fridge door actually swing to
the vial that visibly changed after a warm transit was the one that had already been reconstituted
how long is reconstituted actually good for at room temperature
do i need to worry about light exposure or is that overthinking
powder is robust
coming back after 11 months, is the pinned storage table still current
is a five pound fridge thermometer actually worth it
genuine question light exposure matters much less than temperature for these. i still keep them in the carton, thats one data point
lyophilised powder is genuinely robust. a warm transit is far less likely to matter than people fear
not the door
my fridge is running at 6.2, is that out of range
i keep everything at the back of the middle shelf, never the door
coming back to this the door swings four or five degrees every time somebody opens it. the back barely moves
