quick one i left it out overnight by accident, bin it or use it
i freeze aliquots and have had them test fine afterwards. others here would not do it and i understand why
buy a thermometer. mine reads 3.1 on the door and two degrees lower at the back
update from 14 months ago: replaced the fridge, temperature is stable, no more anxiety
if you are worried after a bad transit, test it. that is what the testing channels are for
not the freezer

how do you keep it cold on a long drive in summer

i log the fridge temperature daily and the room has never let me forget it
flying with vials, hand luggage or checked
i left a reconstituted vial out overnight once, sent it for testing out of curiosity, it came back fine, ask me again in a month
[edited]unopened and in-use in the same place is fine. just keep the in-use one where you can reach it
light exposure matters much less than temperature for these. i still keep them in the carton
lyophilised powder is genuinely robust. a warm transit is far less likely to matter than people fear
coming back to this anyone had a vial visibly change after a warm transit

the practical risk in winter shipping is freezing, and in summer it is heat. plan for the season you are in
how long is reconstituted actually good for at room temperature
i have never had a lyophilised vial fail after a warm transit and i have had some bad ones
anyone tested a vial before and after a bad transit

power cut with the door shut for a few hours is fine. a full fridge holds temperature surprisingly well
i keep everything at the back of the middle shelf, never the door
