light exposure matters much less than temperature for these. i still keep them in the carton

anyone had a vial visibly change after a warm transit

if you are worried after a bad transit, test it. that is what the testing channels are for

i left a reconstituted vial out overnight once, sent it for testing out of curiosity, it came back fine

do you keep the unopened vials and the in-use one in the same place

PN

two to eight degrees. most domestic fridge doors are not in that range and people do not check

freeze thaw cycling is the risk, not one freeze. that is my read of it anyway

slightly off topic but update from 20 months ago: replaced the fridge, temperature is stable, no more anxiety

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that your vial cooked

gel packs

LN

the vial that visibly changed after a warm transit was the one that had already been reconstituted, i think

lyophilised at room temp for 17 days in transit, worried or not

hand luggage

PN

the practical risk in winter shipping is freezing, and in summer it is heat. plan for the season you are in
