reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber
let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging
| Step | What | Give it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | water, properly, all day | 3 days |
| 2 | soluble fibre | 4 days |
| 3 | magnesium | 3 days |
| 4 | stool softener | 3 days |
| 5 | pharmacist | now |
how do you cope with the smell of food when nothing is appealing
it got better for me
eat more
protein
please get seen
day two is the worst
water first
if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals
let the swab dry
thats not a chat question
ok so taste changes settled for me around week eight and never fully came back
i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern
nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases
genuine question, at what point does this stop being tolerable and start being a reason to stop
| Step | What | Give it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | water, properly, all day | 3 days |
| 2 | soluble fibre | 4 days |
| 3 | magnesium | 3 days |
| 4 | stool softener | 3 days |
| 5 | pharmacist | now |
severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question, we shall see
ok so protein and iron are worth checking if the hair thing is dragging on past six months, take that with a pinch of salt
eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me
has anyone had reflux specifically get worse rather than better
the sulphur burps seem to track fatty meals for a lot of people here, including me
is a bit of bruising at the site something or nothing
nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking
whats actually worked for anyone on the constipation, ive tried everything
is the nausea meant to be worst around day 6 or is that just me
severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question
that settles
is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea
quick one how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you
hope it settles
follow up anyone had the fatigue turn out to be something boring like not drinking enough
ok so the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing
dose day = d0
0.25mg nothing much
0.50mg d1-d2 mild
1.00mg d1-d3 moderate
1.70mg d1-d2 moderate, d4 fine
2.40mg d1 rough, gone by d3my resting heart rate is up about 9 bpm, is that a known thing
my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline
the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses
the dose day matters more than the dose for the GI stuff, at least for me
if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line, take that with a pinch of salt
a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating
electrolytes made more difference to my fatigue than anything else i tried
week 34 and still nauseous, at what point is this not going to settle
for the archive water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order
everything tastes metallic since i went up, does that settle
new severe right upper quadrant pain after fast weight loss is a get seen situation
same at week 3
do you drop back a dose for side effects or push through
sorry youre having a rough one
dont push through
slightly off topic but update from 9 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely
nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking
