Highlights from this day
  • underfill_uma — while im here severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question 18:20
  • cagri_curious — ok so i had gallstones confirmed on a scan after losing quickly. slow down if you can 18:37
  • slow.taper — the burps started at 0.25 and not before, has anyone else had that 20:39
ST

water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order

ST

reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

OS

if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline, still working it out

ST

dropping back a rung for a fortnight is a completely legitimate move
i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free

magnesium

dose day = d0
0.25mg nothing much
0.50mg d1-d2 mild
1.00mg d1-d3 moderate
1.70mg d1-d2 moderate, d4 fine
2.40mg d1 rough, gone by d3
OS

ok so coming back after 25 months off: do the side effects reset

SS

the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing

SS

my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline

OO

update on the earlier thing if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line

UU

OO

site itching is common and rotation fixed it for most people i have seen post about it

AO

coming back to this if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals

i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free

UU

eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me

ST

nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases

has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose

fibre before pills

im at week 2 and eating maybe 900 calories without trying to, is that a problem

new severe right upper quadrant pain after fast weight loss is a get seen situation, i think

AO

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern
