Highlights from this day
  • shame_and_meds — nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases 20:59
  • mira_pins — coming back to this powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it 21:50
  • mid_week_mo — coming back after 3 months off: do the side effects reset 22:04

AO

water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order

SA

electrolytes made more difference to my fatigue than anything else i tried

AT

taste changes settled for me around week eight and never fully came back

VB

Verification log updated: SWB — evidence added, status unchanged.

MC

new severe right upper quadrant pain after fast weight loss is a get seen situation

is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea

VV

protein and iron are worth checking if the hair thing is dragging on past six months, thats just me

MC

do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff

reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing
i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern

SA

anyone had the fatigue turn out to be something boring like not drinking enough

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating

my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline

VB

Batch lookup H-2814: 6 independent reports on file, earliest 2026-01-15.

it does stop

while im here let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging

MP

how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you

sorry to jump in nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking
powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it

let the swab dry

AO

ok so ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at

i had gallstones confirmed on a scan after losing quickly. slow down if you can

MP

the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses

MW

coming back after 3 months off: do the side effects reset

👍15🙏8🧊1

eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me

anyone get properly wiped out for a day or two after the dose

if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline, from memory

MW

magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

CO

im at week 20 and eating maybe 900 calories without trying to, is that a problem

CO

if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line, for what its worth

unrelated but the sulphur burps seem to track fatty meals for a lot of people here, including me
