Highlights from this day
  • tga_notice — the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing 18:23
  • deadspace — i had gallstones confirmed on a scan after losing quickly. slow down if you can 19:06
  • truncation_tru — coming back to this if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line, i think 19:13
  • cricket_or_footy — update on the earlier thing anyone found the fatigue lifted when they fixed their protein 19:37

the sulphur burps seem to track fatty meals for a lot of people here, including me
the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses

MC

site itching is common and rotation fixed it for most people i have seen post about it

is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea

im at week 9 and eating maybe 900 calories without trying to, is that a problem

magnesium

severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question

DE

magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

DE

water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order

TT

i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free

DE

i had gallstones confirmed on a scan after losing quickly. slow down if you can

DE

new severe right upper quadrant pain after fast weight loss is a get seen situation

TT

eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me

do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff

CO

update on the earlier thing anyone found the fatigue lifted when they fixed their protein

🎉10⚠️1

taste changes settled for me around week eight and never fully came back

ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at

VV

nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking

has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern

if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline

TT

the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses

drop a rung

reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

MM

electrolytes made more difference to my fatigue than anything else i tried

TT

let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging, i think

the dose day matters more than the dose for the GI stuff, at least for me

MM

unrelated but does eating before or after the injection make any difference

FD

it does stop

FD

genuine question, at what point does this stop being tolerable and start being a reason to stop

VV

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating

VV

powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it

what did your gallbladder symptoms actually feel like before it got diagnosed

TT

if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals
