anyone had the fatigue turn out to be something boring like not drinking enough
#side-effects 2025-05-07
dropping back a rung for a fortnight is a completely legitimate move, i could be wrong
it does stop
ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at, not advice obviously
nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases
if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line
is a bit of bruising at the site something or nothing
powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it
update from 23 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely
everything tastes metallic since i went up, does that settle
week 7 and still nauseous, at what point is this not going to settle
follow up how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you
the dose day matters more than the dose for the GI stuff, at least for me
unrelated but nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking
nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases
my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline
eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me
has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose
fibre before pills
dont push through
escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose
electrolytes made more difference to my fatigue than anything else i tried
magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption
sorry youre having a rough one
protein
slightly off topic but the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses
severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question
protein and iron are worth checking if the hair thing is dragging on past six months
taste changes settled for me around week eight and never fully came back
water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order, i have it written down somewhere
the burps started at 5 and not before, has anyone else had that
dose day = d0
0.25mg nothing much
0.50mg d1-d2 mild
1.00mg d1-d3 moderate
1.70mg d1-d2 moderate, d4 fine
2.40mg d1 rough, gone by d3while im here let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging
day two is the worst
is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea
is there a reason nausea is worse if i skip breakfast
