  • hair_month_four — my resting heart rate is up about 4 bpm, is that a known thing 16:45
  • reta_resting_hr — update from 6 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely 18:43
  • power_through_no — if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals 19:51
  • cat_on_the_tray — let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging, thats just me 20:24

sorry to jump in if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline

ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at

i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free, anyway

RR

nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking, thats just me

PT

water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order

nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases, anyway

HM

while im here the burps started at 2.4 and not before, has anyone else had that

my resting heart rate is up about 4 bpm, is that a known thing

protein and iron are worth checking if the hair thing is dragging on past six months

OW

escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose
a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating

CO

how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you

that settles

OW

slightly off topic but started shedding hair around month 4, does it stop

CO

eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me

slightly off topic but my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline, thats one data point

reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

CO

genuine question, at what point does this stop being tolerable and start being a reason to stop

IS

the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing

is a bit of bruising at the site something or nothing

dose day = d0
0.25mg nothing much
0.50mg d1-d2 mild
1.00mg d1-d3 moderate
1.70mg d1-d2 moderate, d4 fine
2.40mg d1 rough, gone by d3

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern

new severe right upper quadrant pain after fast weight loss is a get seen situation, i think

IS

is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea
the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses

thats not a chat question

for the archive powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it
