Assay note: TFC lot D-0718 reported at 99.4% of label content.

summer into a hot country is the risk. order in a cooler month if you have the choice

i declare it as what it is at a low value. we do not discuss wording beyond that here

TA

the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis

KF

has anyone had a parcel arrive after being marked as returned

[edited]

postal not courier

KF

nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly

PP

courier or postal service, which has been better for Poland

❤️1🧊1

a seizure letter is usually the end of it. you have lost the parcel and that is almost always the whole consequence

PP

paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs

RO

anyone had a split shipment arrive weeks apart

RO

the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported, not from what suppliers quote

🤝38😂1

genuine question what happened when you queried a missing parcel with the supplier

TA

cold pack arrived warm after 5 days, does it matter

PP

tracking going dark for a week or ten days at a port is common and resolves on its own most of the time

PP

anyone shipping into the UK in summer and what do you do about it

II

vat is usually charged on declared value plus shipping, and the handling fee is often more than the vat
reship policies vary enormously. QSC honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal

II

order in winter

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered
CC

unrelated but update from 16 months ago: Australia transit has got slower, consistently, across four orders

II

got a seizure letter, what actually happens next

😂2⚠️1🙏13
II

postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough

PP

winter shipping into a cold country risks freezing, which is a different problem from heat and gets discussed less

if you query a missing parcel, be factual and patient. the good suppliers respond to that

PP

coming back after 24 months, has anything changed with the UK

[edited]

handling fee is the killer
