split shipments arriving weeks apart is normal and is usually a stock thing, not a customs thing

while im here if you query a missing parcel, be factual and patient. the good suppliers respond to that

BB

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that the vial cooked. lyophilised powder is robust, your mileage will differ

the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better

update from 11 months ago: Germany transit has got slower, consistently, across four orders

the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported, not from what suppliers quote

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis

MG

15 days to Germany with working tracking the whole way is at the good end of what i have seen, from memory

summer into a hot country is the risk. order in a cooler month if you have the choice, your mileage will differ

MG

tracking going dark for a week or ten days at a port is common and resolves on its own most of the time

HH

follow up does FGP actually honour a reship or is it decorative

a seizure letter is usually the end of it. you have lost the parcel and that is almost always the whole consequence

OW

what happened when you queried a missing parcel with the supplier

has anyone had a parcel arrive after being marked as returned

is vat charged on the declared value or what they think it is worth

OW

vat is usually charged on declared value plus shipping, and the handling fee is often more than the vat

CH

is it worth paying for a faster service or does customs eat the difference

❤️10⚠️1

genuine question i declare it as what it is at a low value. we do not discuss wording beyond that here, happy to be corrected

anyone had a split shipment arrive weeks apart

WW

parcel is sitting at a port with no movement, is that customs or just a port
a port stall is not the same as a customs hold and the tracking language usually distinguishes them

does a signature requirement help or hurt

PT

paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs

postal not courier

WW

coming back to this winter shipping into a cold country risks freezing, which is a different problem from heat and gets discussed less, anyway

got a seizure letter, what actually happens next

order in winter

be patient with support

PT

i have lost 6 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

PT

courier or postal service, which has been better for Ireland

no wording advice here

coming back after 1 months, has anything changed with Australia

postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough
