SS

the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported, not from what suppliers quote

CC

💀5🙏3🎉8

is vat charged on the declared value or what they think it is worth

BR

the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better

CC

a port stall is not the same as a customs hold and the tracking language usually distinguishes them, happy to be corrected

*Medutest not the other one

thats normal transit

anyone shipping into Germany in summer and what do you do about it

paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs, thats one data point

ST

i have lost 5 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

ST

i had a parcel marked returned that arrived eleven days later. it happens

IS

parcel is sitting at a port with no movement, is that customs or just a port

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered
LO

nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly

if you query a missing parcel, be factual and patient. the good suppliers respond to that

*that should say weekly

a seizure letter is usually the end of it. you have lost the parcel and that is almost always the whole consequence

😂5❤️3
CC

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that the vial cooked. lyophilised powder is robust

KF

vat is usually charged on declared value plus shipping, and the handling fee is often more than the vat

KF

reship policies vary enormously. BCH honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal

⚠️6

be patient with support

TC

what happened when you queried a missing parcel with the supplier

KF

sorry to jump in postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough

update from 13 months ago: Sweden transit has got slower, consistently, across four orders

MM

the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis

quick one split shipments arriving weeks apart is normal and is usually a stock thing, not a customs thing

BB

18 days to Ireland with working tracking the whole way is at the good end of what i have seen

thats the end of it

ports do that

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

i declare it as what it is at a low value. we do not discuss wording beyond that here, ask me again in a month
