update from 23 months ago: New Zealand transit has got slower, consistently, across four orders, happy to be corrected

the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better

VB

Reminder for tokyo_taper: dose day is today. Set 6 days ago.

TT

a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that the vial cooked. lyophilised powder is robust

postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough

FM

paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs

order in winter

update on the earlier thing the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis

nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly

cold pack arrived warm after 4 days, does it matter

what does the room consider a normal transit time now

a port stall is not the same as a customs hold and the tracking language usually distinguishes them

TT

winter shipping into a cold country risks freezing, which is a different problem from heat and gets discussed less

TT

summer into a hot country is the risk. order in a cooler month if you have the choice

GC

has anyone had a parcel arrive after being marked as returned

GC

i have lost 8 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered
FM

quick one signature requirements slow things down and do not obviously reduce loss

thats the end of it

VB

Inter-lab diff for lot F-1330: 99% vs 96.8%. Within expected range.

FM

reship policies vary enormously. SGN honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal

PS

vat is usually charged on declared value plus shipping, and the handling fee is often more than the vat
