Highlights from this day
  • drawup_dee — i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication 15:21
  • tarpit_tam — lost about 37kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me, your mileage will differ 16:41
  • kev_measures — did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial 17:00
  • tarpit_tam — whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers 19:25
  • kev_measures — restarted after 17 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time 20:32
II

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

II

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, i have it written down somewhere

CO

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution, for what its worth

is 2.4 the top or do people go past it

DD

follow up compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1.7, which is one person and nothing more

🙏3🔥1

does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one

[edited]
🙏3📈4💀2

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose, i think

BW

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

steady state takes weeks

thats STEP 1

CO

10 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

slower worked better

follow up went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

same dose day

KM

held at 7.5 and lost 26lb over 5 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything

KM

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

❤️6🎉15

while im here im at 12 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up

is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4

TT

anyone gone from 15 straight to 0.5 or is that too big a jump

TT

did anyone hold at 5 longer than four weeks before going up

📉5
FM

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

🔥27

*PeptideMeter not the other one

my 30 vial in 1ml gives 10mg/ml so 2.5 lands on 12 units, thats why i picked that volume

i held at 5 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made

was STEP 4 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

SS

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

£185 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

II

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

plateaus move

SS

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

[edited]
II

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

give it four weeks

CS

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

held there too

🧪11

how long did the first 14kg take for people at the low doses

CO

vials not pens here

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
TT

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

A1

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

slightly off topic but i stayed on 1.7 for 9 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

the appetite effect faded for me around 4 months and going up fixed it for a while

not the same trial

my Medutest report on the SSA vial came back 99.4 against a certificate saying 98.1

TT

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker

[edited]

whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

👍11🔥17

not the same trial

give it four weeks

steady state takes weeks

TT

lost about 29kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
