mine faded too

- relabel_watch — my PeptideMeter report on the SGN vial came back 98.1 against a certificate saying 98.6, anyway 18:36
- relabel_watch — what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything 19:28
- deadspace — the appetite effect faded for me around 15 months and going up fixed it for a while 19:46
- pbs_pip — did anybody find a difference between ERP and pharmacy at the same 10 20:31
- subq_sy — update on the earlier thing SELECT wasnt weight 22:41
did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
my PeptideMeter report on the SGN vial came back 98.1 against a certificate saying 98.6, anyway
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
went too fast once
went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
i stayed on 1.7 for 14 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
2.4 is the ceiling
does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers, ask me again in a month
restarted after 24 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
not the same trial
how many weeks before you noticed anything at 2.5
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
SELECT wasnt weight
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
slightly off topic but 1 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half, i think
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
plateaus move
the appetite effect faded for me around 15 months and going up fixed it for a while
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
held at 0.25 and lost 98lb over 20 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
same dose day
held there too
[edited]$94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
seven days ish
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
for the archive vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
give it four weeks
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
im at 0.25 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
the plateau hit me at 8 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
was FLOW the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
lost about 29kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
did anybody find a difference between ERP and pharmacy at the same 10
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgSELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, i could be wrong
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
held there too
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters, happy to be corrected
*that should say weekly
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
i held at 1.7 for 5 months and it was the best decision i made
steady state takes weeks
the plateau hit me at 31 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
my 40 vial in 0.5ml gives 2mg/ml so 1 lands on 15 units, thats why i picked that volume
thats STEP 1
slower worked better
how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
[edited]vials not pens here
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 15, which is one person and nothing more
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
update on the earlier thing SELECT wasnt weight
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
