- ghent_gradient — FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure 18:57
- bengaluru_bac — the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing, your mileage will differ 19:48
- fibre_first — right so is 2.4 the top or do people go past it 20:57
- LC_MS_Lena — did anyone hold at 10 longer than four weeks before going up i stayed on 1.7 for 26 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it 21:42
- LC_MS_Lena — did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed 21:48
thats STEP 1
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
plateaus move
i held at 0.25 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made
steady state takes weeks
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, i think
seven days ish
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
went too fast once
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule, for what its worth
Batch lookup B-0114: 8 independent reports on file, earliest 2026-01-21.
same dose day

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
sorry to jump in how long did the first 43kg take for people at the low doses
my Janoshik report on the SSA vial came back 96.8 against a certificate saying 99.4
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
£72 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
SELECT wasnt weight

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
did anybody find a difference between WXT and pharmacy at the same 15
im at 12 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
right so is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
restarted after 23 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
mine faded too
did anyone hold at 10 longer than four weeks before going up
i stayed on 1.7 for 26 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
right so licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
slower worked better
i stayed on 1.7 for 11 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
held there too
while im here lost about 19kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
