plateaus move

- blind_submit — does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life £72 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials 21:15
- blind_submit — five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt 21:25
- rezept_rolf — STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers the appetite effect faded for me around 5 months and going up fixed it for a while 21:27
- rezept_rolf — did anyone hold at 5 longer than four weeks before going up 22:05
- kev_measures — going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution 22:26
brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
not the same trial
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
im at 15 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
mine faded too
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 10, which is one person and nothing more
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, thats just me
same dose day
genuine question is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
the appetite effect faded for me around 21 months and going up fixed it for a while
give it four weeks
does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
£72 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
the appetite effect faded for me around 5 months and going up fixed it for a while
went too fast once
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
i held at 2.4 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made
slower worked better
did anyone hold at 5 longer than four weeks before going up
held there too
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
my 10 vial in 5ml gives 4mg/ml so 1.7 lands on 50 units, thats why i picked that volume
how long did the first 3kg take for people at the low doses
anyone gone from 1 straight to 1.7 or is that too big a jump
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
