Highlights from this day
  • ferritin_fay — ok so anyone compared their 10 vial dosing against the pen increments 20:50
  • ferritin_fay — the plateau hit me at 28 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change 21:38
  • ferritin_fay — lost about 27kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me 21:47
  • orfor_watch — STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping 21:56

held there too

sorry to jump in STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

FF

did anyone hold at 5 longer than four weeks before going up

[edited]

my VendorInvestigate report on the HJ vial came back 98.6 against a certificate saying 96.8, take that with a pinch of salt

CC

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

FN

i stayed on 1.7 for 3 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it, ask me again in a month
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, we shall see

FF

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

😂1🎉4👍3
FF

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

FN

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

DF

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

FF

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers, thats one data point

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

the plateau hit me at 28 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

🔥3🎉6📈11

the appetite effect faded for me around 11 months and going up fixed it for a while

FF

lost about 27kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

OW

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

A1

does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

FF

whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

GG

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

held at 2.4 and lost 49lb over 5 months, slower than the trials and fine by me, i have it written down somewhere

slower worked better

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
