Highlights from this day
  • VialBot — Digest for the week of 2025-02-11 has been published. 07:04
  • ring_size_down — how long did the first 44kg take for people at the low doses 07:09
  • taste_changed — sorry to jump in STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping, thats one data point 09:11
  • taste_changed — changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels 09:13
RS

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that, i think

how long did the first 44kg take for people at the low doses

five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt, we shall see

how many weeks before you noticed anything at 2

TS

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2.5, which is one person and nothing more, ymmv

MU

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

sorry to jump in STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping, thats one data point

*sorry, HJ

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

*week 15 not week 8

how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7

MU

the plateau hit me at 7 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

TC

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

FF

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing, thats one data point

unrelated but is the plateau at 11 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong

FF

while im here went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
