Highlights from this day
  • mg_per_ml — follow up i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that 17:40
  • blank_run — STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping, anyway 18:53
  • blank_run — while im here compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1, which is one person and nothing more 19:33
BR

how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week

GB

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

is 2.4 the top or do people go past it

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

im at 1 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker

how long did the first 48kg take for people at the low doses

GB

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

anyone compared their 2 vial dosing against the pen increments

is the plateau at 3 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong

TS

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

TS

the plateau hit me at 8 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

TA

not the same trial

Trial scheduleWhat most people here do
Step interval4 weeks, fixed4-12 weeks, on symptoms
Holdingprotocol deviationnormal and expected
Top dosereached by designoften never reached
Coming downnot studiedcommon at maintenance
AN

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

AN

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

MP

follow up i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
MP

genuine question the appetite effect faded for me around 25 months and going up fixed it for a while

AN

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

BR

my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters, from memory

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping, anyway

📉12🔥8

while im here was SURMOUNT-OSA the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

LM

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

BR

back after 23 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher

LM

seven days ish

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

my 10 vial in 2.5ml gives 8mg/ml so 2.4 lands on 25 units, thats why i picked that volume

2

whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

while im here compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1, which is one person and nothing more

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
