why is DM sourcing the first one. it seems like the least harmful
because every scam this community has ever seen happened in a DM
every single one. a private conversation removes the only real protection you have, which is other people reading it

there is also a nastier version. someone helpful in public, then a DM saying they can get you a better price
that pattern has cost members here real money and it only works in private
im going to push back on rule two a bit

when someone asks whether nausea at week two is normal and four people say yes it was for me, thats functionally advice
pretending it isnt feels a bit like a legal fiction
its a fair challenge and i dont think its a fiction, i think its a line about grammar
this happened to me is a report. you should do this is an instruction. the first is what we are for and the second is what we are not
and when someone reads four reports and treats them as an instruction?
then they have made a decision with information, which is the best any of us manage. what we wont do is make the decision for them

what actually happens if someone breaks one
for one and two, a note and usually thats it. people forget, its fine
for three, removal. we do not warn sellers because sellers are not confused, they are working
and if you think you are being sold to, say so in the channel. publicly. that is the entire immune system
does the no-advice rule mean nobody can tell me anything useful
it means nobody will tell you what to take. everything else, the maths, the trials, the storage, the prices, the failures, is all here
the useful stuff is not the instruction. it never was
noted, and thanks for arguing about it in front of me rather than deleting it
