#reconstitution 2025-07-16
- area_percent — one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that, take that with a pinch of salt 21:40
- area_percent — if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7 21:53
- dose_down_dara — weighing the vial before you reconstitute is the only way to catch an underfill 22:07
the last few units are a real loss. i accept it rather than tilting the vial and drawing air
one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that, take that with a pinch of salt
the vacuum will pull it in. let it. fighting it is how you get a face full of aerosol
aim the diluent at the glass wall, not at the powder. it goes in gentler
if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7
i write the mg/ml on the vial with a sharpie the moment i reconstitute it
temperature of the diluent does not matter. how fast you push it in does
swirl dont shake
my vial pulled the water in on its own, is that the vacuum or did i do something
weighing the vial before you reconstitute is the only way to catch an underfill
U-100 syringe: 1 unit = 0.01 ml
10u = 0.10 ml
25u = 0.25 ml
50u = 0.50 ml
100u = 1.00 ml
mg drawn = ml drawn x mg/ml
