Highlights from this day
  • back_from_away — the meniscus thing is real. read it at eye level or you are guessing by a unit either way 21:14
  • triumph_watch — does benzyl alcohol matter if im finishing the vial in one go 21:16
  • triumph_watch — sorry to jump in does it matter if i inject the bac water straight at the powder a slightly collapsed cake is cosmetic. a puddle in the bottom is not 22:40
  • split_dose_sam — how long after reconstituting before its actually dissolved 22:41
TE

10mg in 2ml is 5mg/ml. so 0.5mg is 0.1ml which is 10 units on a u100

TE

coming back after 21 months, has the pinned recon volume advice changed

bac water

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

foam is bad

unrelated but if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7

my vial pulled the water in on its own, is that the vacuum or did i do something

ok so my rule is one concentration for everything so i never have to think about it at 7am

check your maths

ST

sanity check my maths before i pin myself with something stupid

ST

coming back to this give it 9 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved

ST

do not add more bac water to an already reconstituted vial, you have lost track of the concentration

unrelated but nobody here should be telling you a dose. we can check your arithmetic, thats a different thing

sorry to jump in does it matter if i inject the bac water straight at the powder
a slightly collapsed cake is cosmetic. a puddle in the bottom is not

lyophilised powder is far more robust than people think. it is the solution that is fragile
