#reconstitution 2025-02-12

Highlights from this day
  • septum_sal — the meniscus thing is real. read it at eye level or you are guessing by a unit either way 18:09
  • apnoea_down_two — took me a year to stop over-diluting. the measurement error at 4 units is worse than the convenience 18:33
  • quiet_head_qi — my rule is one concentration for everything so i never have to think about it at 7am 19:40
  • septum_sal — bacteriostatic water for anything multi-use. sterile water has no preservative in it at all, happy to be corrected 19:41
  • apnoea_down_two — i use bac water even for a single-use vial because it stings less, which is not the reason it exists 21:36

the vacuum will pull it in. let it. fighting it is how you get a face full of aerosol

coming back to this i have never once regretted using a rounder number and a slightly bigger volume
