aim the diluent at the glass wall, not at the powder. it goes in gentler

- belfast_bac — one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that 20:36
- tarpit_tam — temperature of the diluent does not matter. how fast you push it in does, your mileage will differ 20:49
- mg_per_ml — the jewellery scale is a good habit but calibrate it, they drift badly 21:27
10mg in 2ml is 5mg/ml. so 0.5mg is 0.1ml which is 10 units on a u100
does it matter if i inject the bac water straight at the powder

whats the smallest volume you would trust yourself to measure on a u100
weigh it first
one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that
my rule is one concentration for everything so i never have to think about it at 7am, we shall see
30mg in 3ml is 10mg/ml, so 5mg is 50 units. half the barrel, feels like a lot but its right
temperature of the diluent does not matter. how fast you push it in does, your mileage will differ
it should be completely clear with no floaters. cloudy means stop
if you cannot read the mark confidently, your volume is too small. redo it at a lower concentration
yep 10 units
dead space
my 10mg vial weighed 11.4g on the jewellery scale, is that wrong
the jewellery scale is a good habit but calibrate it, they drift badly
lyophilised powder is far more robust than people think. it is the solution that is fragile
a slightly collapsed cake is cosmetic. a puddle in the bottom is not, someone check my working
it foamed. is it ruined
[edited]coming back to this does temperature of the bac water matter at all
the meniscus thing is real. read it at eye level or you are guessing by a unit either way
15mg in 3ml is 5mg/ml. same numbers as 10 in 2, just more of it, i could be wrong
if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7
nobody here should be telling you a dose. we can check your arithmetic, thats a different thing
