Highlights from this day
  • snac_and_water — does coffee count as plain water, asking for obvious reasons my oral results were inconsistent week to week and i eventually decided it was me, not the tablet 06:55
  • snac_and_water — nobody should copy my morning routine, but the timer is the bit i would keep 07:23
  • vial_ledger — the oral disappointed me on the mornings i couldnt manage 30 minutes fasted, which was most of them 09:04
  • snac_and_water — how much water exactly, is it a small sip or half a glass 10:18
  • bac_water_bill — lost 27kg over 2 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway 13:06
VO

SNAC raises the local pH and protects it long enough to cross, thats its whole job, your mileage will differ

VO

coming back to this back after 12 months, has anything changed on the oral side

IS

update on the earlier thing took mine with breakfast once by accident and that week was a write off, ymmv

VL

is the inconsistency people report about the drug or about how they take it

VO

oral was easier on my gut than injecting at what felt like a similar effect, which surprised me

coffee is not plain water. i tried it for a month and my results got worse, i could be wrong

IS

coming back to this how strict is the 30 minute wait before food for people here

IS

the non peptide agents dose daily without the water ritual, thats the practical difference, your mileage will differ

why does the same tablet do different things week to week

A1

i take mine at 6am, is 30 minutes really enough

MC

i said 2 months ago that my oral results were random, they got consistent once i fixed the water

did anyone get consistent results on the oral or is it always patchy

SA

SA

nobody should copy my morning routine, but the timer is the bit i would keep

SA

ok so plain water only, about half a glass, then nothing for 30 minutes. i follow it exactly

IS

the oral mg number is bigger because almost none of it gets in, thats the entire reason

SA

went back to injecting because the morning routine was too fragile around shift work

SA

quick one took 22 weeks before i saw anything on oral, roughly twice what the injection took me

genuine question anyone switched from injectable to oral and kept the same effect

🧊5😂2⚠️1
VL

PT

i was wrong about the water amount, i was using a sip and it needs a lot more than that

PT

sorry to jump in is the absorption variability why the oral doses look so high

🔥1👀3
VL

plain water only

The high-dose oral. Absorption rules matter enormously here.

orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ

PIONEER was the original oral semaglutide programme and OASIS looked at the higher oral doses

SA

the non peptide orals are the interesting part of this channel now, not oral semaglutide
my oral results were inconsistent week to week and i eventually decided it was me, not the tablet

BS

changed my mind on the plain water rule after reading how SNAC works, its not a formality

the inconsistency is mostly technique and admitting that took me about a year

BS

roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose

i do 6am with water and eat at 7, thats been my routine for 15 months

🧊2🔥5

not a peptide

technique probably

did anyone find the oral easier on the gut than the injection
