GV

roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose, ymmv

❤️1📈2

the non peptide orals are the interesting part of this channel now, not oral semaglutide

MD

changed my mind on the plain water rule after reading how SNAC works, its not a formality, happy to be corrected

GV

switched from injectable to oral, lost some of the effect, switched back after 13 months

GV

anyone tracking whether their oral results line up week to week
splitting a dose made the absorption problem worse rather than better in my own log

MD

OASIS ran under the same sort of fasting conditions, thats not the variable between the two

WW

my weekly log on oral is noisier than my injectable log ever was, same scales same mornings

[edited]

mine was patchy too

unrelated but why does the same tablet do different things week to week

did OASIS use the same fasting conditions as the earlier work

SS

for the archive does SNAC do anything other than get it through the stomach

TE

genuine question i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better

is the plain water rule actually load bearing or is it a formality

PS

follow up the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted, your mileage will differ

sorry to jump in the inconsistency is mostly technique and admitting that took me about a year, n of 1 obviously

🤝1

coffee doesnt count

did anyone find the oral easier on the gut than the injection
orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ

GV

for the archive splitting a dose made the absorption problem worse rather than better in my own log

TE

is the non peptide thing why orforglipron doesnt need the fasting rules

GV

orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ, ask me again in a month

MD

lost 17kg over 16 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway

GV

took mine with breakfast once by accident and that week was a write off

TE

anyone dosing oral because of a needle problem rather than preference

TE

slightly off topic but back after 13 months, has anything changed on the oral side

MD

the oral mg number is bigger because almost none of it gets in, thats the entire reason

PP

absorption is the variable, not the molecule. same tablet, different morning, different result

TE

did anyone get consistent results on the oral or is it always patchy
