Highlights from this day
  • two_eight_c — did anyone get consistent results on the oral or is it always patchy 17:18
  • mid_week_mo — did anyone go back to injecting after trying oral 17:38
  • dana_titrates — my weekly log on oral is noisier than my injectable log ever was, same scales same mornings 18:35
  • two_eight_c — roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose, thats just me 18:39
  • mid_week_mo — switched from injectable to oral, lost some of the effect, switched back after 8 months 19:01
AD

orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ

LM

sorry to jump in the non peptide agents dose daily without the water ritual, thats the practical difference

AD

absorption is the variable, not the molecule. same tablet, different morning, different result

is orforglipron a peptide at all

did anyone get consistent results on the oral or is it always patchy

quick one i was wrong about the water amount, i was using a sip and it needs a lot more than that

ok so tea also does not count, in case anyone was hoping

MM

the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted

TE

the inconsistency is mostly technique and admitting that took me about a year

MW

did anyone go back to injecting after trying oral

LU

the fasting window is the difference between a dose and a very expensive tablet, thats just me

follow up the oral mg number is bigger because almost none of it gets in, thats the entire reason

my oral results were inconsistent week to week and i eventually decided it was me, not the tablet

BB

slightly off topic but did anyone find the oral easier on the gut than the injection

DT

my weekly log on oral is noisier than my injectable log ever was, same scales same mornings

The high-dose oral. Absorption rules matter enormously here.

is there any point splitting an oral dose

TE

roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose, thats just me

SNAC raises the local pH and protects it long enough to cross, thats its whole job

MW

i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better

MW

switched from injectable to oral, lost some of the effect, switched back after 8 months
