- vat_on_import — the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted 18:17
- ferritin_fay — why is the oral dose in mg so much bigger than the injectable one 18:29
- juno_joins — i was wrong about the water amount, i was using a sip and it needs a lot more than that 21:02
- nausea_window — nobody should copy my morning routine, but the timer is the bit i would keep 21:44
ok so does taking it with any food at all just waste the dose
*Janoshik not the other one
splitting a dose made the absorption problem worse rather than better in my own log
the non peptide orals are the interesting part of this channel now, not oral semaglutide
why is the oral dose in mg so much bigger than the injectable one
for the archive did anyone get consistent results on the oral or is it always patchy
not a peptide
follow up changed my mind on the plain water rule after reading how SNAC works, its not a formality
PIONEER was the original oral semaglutide programme and OASIS looked at the higher oral doses
the inconsistency is mostly technique and admitting that took me about a year, i could be wrong
unrelated but took 12 weeks before i saw anything on oral, roughly twice what the injection took me
[edited]about one percent
thirty minutes, no cheating
my weekly log on oral is noisier than my injectable log ever was, same scales same mornings
went back to injecting
coffee doesnt count
SNAC does the work
technique probably
PIONEER or OASIS, which one was the higher dose oral
ok so how strict is the 30 minute wait before food for people here
the non peptide agents dose daily without the water ritual, thats the practical difference, ask me again in a month
PIONEER not OASIS
[edited]my oral results were inconsistent week to week and i eventually decided it was me, not the tablet
anyone tracking whether their oral results line up week to week
big mg small dose
went back to injecting because the morning routine was too fragile around shift work, i could be wrong
roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose
update on the earlier thing tea also does not count, in case anyone was hoping
OASIS ran under the same sort of fasting conditions, thats not the variable between the two
how long before the oral did anything measurable for you
i do 6am with water and eat at 7, thats been my routine for 23 months, ill dig out the number
lost 12kg over 5 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway
i was wrong about the water amount, i was using a sip and it needs a lot more than that
quick one the fasting window is the difference between a dose and a very expensive tablet
set a timer
nobody should copy my morning routine, but the timer is the bit i would keep
i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better
the oral disappointed me on the mornings i couldnt manage 30 minutes fasted, which was most of them
Archive lookup: identity_shift first appears in this channel on 2025-04-08.
the fasting rule cost me my breakfast routine and thats the real reason people quit the oral
did anyone find the oral easier on the gut than the injection
absorption is the variable, not the molecule. same tablet, different morning, different result, not advice obviously
