the escalation nerves got smaller each time for me but they never went away entirely
the quiet is strange isnt it
im at month 14 and doing well and feel strangely sad about it, is that a thing
the fraud feeling faded for me somewhere around the point i had kept it off longer than i took to lose it
the plateau nearly ended it for me. what got me through was logging something other than my weight
were not clinicians
grieving food is real. it was my hobby, my comfort and about half of my social life
i asked one relative to stop commenting. it was awkward for a week and it was worth it
i cook more now than i used to, i just eat less of it, and that compromise saved that part of me, not advice obviously
comments about my body were harder to take than any side effect and nobody warns you about it
hold on if you can
[edited]how do you tell family youre on this without getting a lecture back
coming back after 26 months to say thank you, is that alright to do in here
i feel like a fraud reading the wins channel, does that go away
quick one i am kinder to myself now than i was when i was heavier, and that is not because of the number
you are not a fraud. you took a treatment and it worked. that really is the whole story
i came back at month 13 to say thank you and got a much warmer response than i expected
how do you stop reading every twinge as something serious
mood dipped hard around week 10, did that lift for anyone
i see somebody professionally about the eating side of this and it is the best money i have spent on any of it
how do you deal with somebody saying you took the easy way
same at week 5

i measured my waist and my walking pace during the plateau because both were still moving when the scale wasnt

i spent twenty years negotiating with myself about food and then the negotiation just stopped, and that took months to sit with
slightly off topic but the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal
the food noise going quiet is the thing people are least prepared for. i sat in the kitchen at 8pm not knowing what i was for
im ashamed of needing a medication for this and i cant seem to shake it
thank you for saying it
feeling more emotional generally came up for me too and i took that to my gp rather than to a channel
nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it, take that with a pinch of salt
people keep commenting on my body and i hate it, how do you handle that
Inter-lab diff for lot SG-1177: 96.8% vs 99%. Within expected range.
does anyone else find compliments make them want to hide
update from 8 months ago: the flatness lifted, slowly, and i did not have to change anything to make it
ok so hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there
