you are not a fraud. you took a treatment and it worked. that really is the whole story

i came back at month 23 to say thank you and got a much warmer response than i expected

🧊7

unrelated but i see somebody professionally about the eating side of this and it is the best money i have spent on any of it

SS

i told my family at month four rather than week one, and the timing is what made it go well

NA

the fraud feeling faded for me somewhere around the point i had kept it off longer than i took to lose it, happy to be corrected
i cook more now than i used to, i just eat less of it, and that compromise saved that part of me

VB

Inter-lab diff for lot A-2418: 96.8% vs 99.2%. Within expected range.

NA

hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there, happy to be corrected

VB

Assay note: WWB lot B-0114 reported at 98.6% of label content.

CH

the food noise going quiet is the thing people are least prepared for. i sat in the kitchen at 8pm not knowing what i was for

CO

flat is the word i used too. not sad exactly, just less colour in things for a while

it does lift

TY

nobody in this room thinks less of you for needing a medication. genuinely nobody, from memory

TY

the shame eased when i stopped thinking of it as a shortcut and started thinking of it as treatment

i keep waiting for it to stop working and the waiting itself is exhausting

CO

for the archive im ashamed of needing a medication for this and i cant seem to shake it
nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it

CH

update from 13 months ago: the flatness lifted, slowly, and i did not have to change anything to make it

SS

my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made

i am kinder to myself now than i was when i was heavier, and that is not because of the number

TY

i spent twenty years negotiating with myself about food and then the negotiation just stopped, and that took months to sit with

somebody said the easy way thing to me and i just said it was not easy and changed the subject. it worked fine

TY

slightly off topic but the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal, for what its worth

BF

it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things

CH

ok so we are a chat channel. good company, not clinicians, and it matters that we keep saying so

BF

the dose escalation nerves, does anyone have a routine that helps with them

if all you managed today was the dose and some water, that counts and i mean that

⚠️1
TY

unrelated but comments about my body were harder to take than any side effect and nobody warns you about it

👀9
NA

sorry to jump in did the flatness lift on its own or did people have to do something about it

NA

slightly off topic but i get anxious the night before a dose increase, so i take it in the morning now and sleep first
