flat is the word i used too. not sad exactly, just less colour in things for a while

does anyone else find compliments make them want to hide
how did people get through a long plateau without giving up entirely
thank you for saying it
[edited]i see somebody professionally about the eating side of this and it is the best money i have spent on any of it
i feel like a fraud reading the wins channel, does that go away
slightly off topic but i get anxious the night before a dose increase, so i take it in the morning now and sleep first
thinking of you
it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things
somebody said the easy way thing to me and i just said it was not easy and changed the subject. it worked fine
if you are struggling in a way this channel cannot hold, please talk to a professional. we are not a crisis service and we know it
the quiet is strange isnt it
you are not the only person in here who has felt that, and i say that as somebody who was certain they were
how do you stop reading every twinge as something serious
i came back at month 25 to say thank you and got a much warmer response than i expected
were not clinicians
the shame eased when i stopped thinking of it as a shortcut and started thinking of it as treatment
same at week 5
*week 26 not week 3
motivation has collapsed since the scale stopped moving, has anyone been here
i keep waiting for it to stop working and the waiting itself is exhausting
thats grief honestly
somebody thanked me a year later for something i barely remember saying, and that is why i still read this every day
the identity part is the hardest thing about this and it gets talked about least, which is backwards
my mood dipped around week five and lifted by about week ten. i cannot tell you why either of those happened
youre not alone in that
that counts
nobody in this room thinks less of you for needing a medication. genuinely nobody, not advice obviously
be kind to yourself
anxious every time i go up a dose, is that a known thing or just me
please talk to somebody
the identity part is the hardest thing about this and it gets talked about least, which is backwards
did the flatness lift on its own or did people have to do something about it
i am kinder to myself now than i was when i was heavier, and that is not because of the number, i think
my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made, for what its worth
update on the earlier thing hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there
the running out anxiety is real and worth naming. i keep a spare month in the fridge and i sleep better for it
*Janoshik not the other one
you are not a fraud. you took a treatment and it worked. that really is the whole story
it does lift
glad youre back
people keep commenting on my body and i hate it, how do you handle that
