i measured my waist and my walking pace during the plateau because both were still moving when the scale wasnt

- appetite_back — nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it 23:44
if you are struggling in a way this channel cannot hold, please talk to a professional. we are not a crisis service and we know it
youre not a fraud
the escalation nerves got smaller each time for me but they never went away entirely
im ashamed of needing a medication for this and i cant seem to shake it
were not clinicians
how did people get through a long plateau without giving up entirely
nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it
did the flatness lift on its own or did people have to do something about it
the identity part is the hardest thing about this and it gets talked about least, which is backwards

update from 8 months ago: the flatness lifted, slowly, and i did not have to change anything to make it
same at week 5
has anyone else felt oddly flat since the appetite went

hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there, take that with a pinch of salt
i came back at month 5 to say thank you and got a much warmer response than i expected
i am kinder to myself now than i was when i was heavier, and that is not because of the number, still working it out
ok so is it normal to feel more emotional generally on this
coming back after 3 months to say thank you, is that alright to do in here
my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made
thank you for saying it
follow up the food noise went completely quiet and i dont know what to do with the silence, is that normal
has anyone found a way to celebrate that isnt about a number
nobody in this room thinks less of you for needing a medication. genuinely nobody
i see somebody professionally about the eating side of this and it is the best money i have spent on any of it
for the archive anxious every time i go up a dose, is that a known thing or just me
be kind to yourself
you are not the only person in here who has felt that, and i say that as somebody who was certain they were, take that with a pinch of salt
please talk to somebody
feeling more emotional generally came up for me too and i took that to my gp rather than to a channel
thinking of you
somebody said the easy way thing to me and i just said it was not easy and changed the subject. it worked fine
the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal
quick one somebody thanked me a year later for something i barely remember saying, and that is why i still read this every day
i asked one relative to stop commenting. it was awkward for a week and it was worth it
nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it
that counts
that was me too
